The best-selling queen of singles is back in the game! Hong Kong singer-actress Fiona Sit has finally released the music video for the latest single "Leaving Me", which was released online on 26 February 2013.

According to Jayne Stars, "Leaving Me" premiered on YouTube a few hours after the single's online launch. The music video is directed by Taiwanese art director Jude Chen and composed by her boyfriend Khalil Fong, who is a successful musician in his own right. The lyrics are penned by Jackson Lam.

The ballad is about a girl's fear of confessing to someone that she likes, because there is a possibility of being rejected, represented here as a accepting a "goodbye flower," which means a relationship that never began. According to Fiona, the lyrics are a reflection of herself.

The music video itself is shot in slow-motion, with purple and pink gradients. Fiona joked that it was hard to film a slow-motion video, as she has to maintain her attractive facial expressions throughout the prolonged shoot.

"There was one scene in which I opened a champagne bottle, and I didn't have enough strength to pop it. The camera caught a very unattractive face of me trying to pry it open, so that simple scene took many champagne bottles to do right!"

"Leaving Me" is the second single of 2013, with the first being "Cold Joke", which went on to become a huge hit in the Hong Kong music charts. It is also her second musical release after signing with her new label and management, Sun Entertainment, in late 2012.
