It was revealed that the sequel to 2011's sleeper hit, "A Great Way To Care" has been scheduled for broadcast beginning 18 March.
Jayne Stars reported that the second season to the medical drama, which achieved 29 points in ratings when it first broadcast in early 2011, sees the return of Alex Fong, Ben Wong, and Tavia Yeung among the few. Marco Law also returns as producer, as well as original scriptwriter Kwan Chung Ling.
However, it was also revealed that the show went through several changes in its main cast. Kate Tsui, who portrayed detective Mandy in the first series, will be absent in the second season due to scheduling conflicts, as well as Raymond Wong's character, nurse Lee Ying Chun.
In "A Great Way To Care 2", senior psychiatrist Ko Lap Yan (Alex Fong) of Yan Wo Hospital is invited to work in a new department, the Department of Forensic Psychiatry, after having successfully helped Senior Inspector Chung Kwok Bun (Ben Wong) solve several criminal cases with his professional analyses on criminal psychology.
Meanwhile, Yan suffers near depression after the death of his wife, Mandy and finds his strength again with the support of his friends Sam (Ram Chiang) and Leung Kai Wing (Edwin Siu), and new romance, psychiatrist Cheuk Wai Kiu (Yoyo Mung).
Other cast members include Tavia Yeung, Aimee Chan, Oscar Leung, Christine Kuo, and Oceane Zhu.
