The Hong Kong singer-actress reportedly quarrelled with her good friend Stephy Tang because the latter does not approve of her relationship with Shawn Yue
Hong Kong singer-actress Kary Ng reportedly argued with her good friend Stephy Tang because of her rumoured boyfriend Shawn Yue.
The couple's relationship was exposed when they were recently caught vacationing together in Europe, although they have yet to publicly acknowledge dating rumours.
It is said that Kary's good friend Stephy has a negative impression of Shawn because he once tried to chase her when they co-acted in the movie In Love with the Dead in 2007, despite being attached to Hong Kong singer Emme Wong at that time.
Sources revealed that Stephy rejected Shawn's advances several times and told him that she was attached to Hong Kong singer-actor Alex Fong, but he continued to pester her. When Alex went to visit Stephy during filming to prove their relationship, Shawn told him that he was 'just playing around', and asked him 'not to be too serious'.
Afraid that Shawn is playing around with her best friend's feelings, Stephy reportedly warned Kary to be careful of her boyfriend and ensure that she would not be cheated on by him and end up hurt in the relationship.
However, Kary refused to accept her advice and even asked Stephy to 'stay out of her business'. The pair argued over the matter and reportedly fell out with each other. Stephy who is currently filming a drama in China refused to send her best wishes to the couple.
