TVB Anniversary Awards 2012 is held on December 17th. Yesterday TVB held the press conference and announced the details of the public voting system. In order to have the capacity to handle a large volume of votes, TVB has already done several trial runs. In 1 minute, the system can accommodate up to 600,000 simultaneous votes. As the voting period is relatively long, the system can divert, so on Dec. 17th the accountant will close the poll and the results will be publicly announced on the anniversary awards night. Au Wai Lam expressed the "Best Actor", "Best Actress" and "Best Series" awards are 100% voted by the citizens. Sandy Yu expressed to prevent cheating, voters must register with their HK ID card number and the TVB system is set up to identify which numbers are real and which are fake.
