More images and information from Ekin Cheng and Yoyo Mung's low-key private wedding in Tokyo have surfaced after their return to Hong Kong.
According to TVB News World, among the recently surfaced photos, a picture of the newlyweds' Notice of Intended Marriage form drew attention. The notice stated that that the couple had submitted their marriage registration form last December.
Meanwhile, Ekin and Yoyo became husband and wife on 28 January 2013, after signing the papers within three months of the registration.
The couple held a simple and cosy affair, and the French restaurant where the wedding took place was recommended by Yoyo's good friend. 40 exclusive guests were invited to participate in the joyous occasion, including Ekin's parents.
However, it was revealed that Yoyo's parents were not able to come as the elderly pair was unfit to travel.
Sources also revealed that the newlyweds intended to announce their marriage after their return to Hong Kong. However, the news broke out in advance when a Chinese student saw the couple in the restaurant and revealed the news ahead of time.
In related news, Yoyo's manager commented that the couple will hold another round of celebrations in Hong Kong for relatives and friends who could not make it to Tokyo.
