Rumour has it that actress Niki Chow has recently reconciled with her ex-boyfriend Eric Cheuk.
Popular Asians reported that Niki's neighbours recently disclosed that a man who resembled Eric has been coming to her house in Manhattan Hill and often stayed for the night. They also revealed that Niki has also been spending her Valentine's Day with Eric in Australia after attending Richie Jen's concert last month.
An insider said, "Niki and Eric missed each other a lot after they broke up. Niki never dated anybody after Eric. Although Eric had some other relationships after their breakup, he didn't like any of them as much as Niki."
The insider added, "Last year, Niki sent a message to Eric, telling him that she wanted to have dinner together before her surgery to remove her tumour. Not only did he promise to eat dinner with her, he also introduced a specialist to Niki. They got back together soon after."
Another source stated, "Niki has never really met Eric's parents before. Now that they are back together, Niki is determined to hold onto Eric. She is planning to win his parents over."
When asked about the rumour at a promotional event for TVB drama "Sergeant Tabloid", Niki declined to give a direct answer, but sent various hints that she is indeed very much in love.
Smiling at the mention of Eric's name, she stated, "I will not respond to questions regarding my love life. All I can say is that I am very happy right now."
Niki met Eric Cheuk, the heir of Comfort Yarn Trading Company Limited through her sister, Kathy Chow immediately after her breakup with actor Kevin Cheng in 2008. The two began to date soon afterwards, but Eric's parents were allegedly against their relationship.
Pressured by his parents and getting slightly intimidated by Niki who wanted to get married, Eric finally broke up with the actress in December 2011.
