After a long album hiatus from the music industry, Cantopop singer Kay Tse has finally released her new single.
As reported on Jayne Stars, the singer's new release is a Mandopop song, targeted for Taiwan music lovers instead of the Hong Kong market. It was a decision made after signing with Taiwanese label, Gold Typhoon late last March.
The single, "I Have A Dream", Kay's official debut single in the Mandopop market, was written and produced by good friend, Gary Chaw that speak of freedom, exploration, and liberation – reflecting Kay's hopes and dreams as she steps into the Taiwanese music industry.
During the press conference of her signing with Gold Typhoon, the singer expressed, "I have always wanted to try a career in the Taiwanese music market, and I worked hard in sorting out my schedule rundown to reserve the time for the press conference."
Although Kay has already released a full-length Mandarin language album two years ago, the record's main focus was Hong Kong. But now, the singer hopes that her new Mandarin studio album will be able to reach to an even wider audience.
The singer also revealed that her studio album has begun production and she has invited many famous musicians in the industry to help out.
