Nicholas Tse & Fan Bingbing Crowned "Huading" Film King & Queen

Last night, The 9th Huading Awards Ceremony was held at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre. Nicholas Tse, Andy Lau, Fan Bingbing, Jackie Chan, Chapman To, Joey Yung, Leo Ku, Charlene Choi and many more attended.

Nicholas was crowned Film King based on his role in The Bullet Vanishes. He happily expressed he is pleased to have won the award because he really likes this film. It was said he defeated Tony Leung's The Silent War? He told everyone not to say that, back then when he became the Film King at the HK Film Awards, Chow Yun Fat was nominated too.

Fan Bingbing was crowned Film Queen for her role in Double Xposure, she expressed: "I'm very happy, this is an arts film with over 20 million citizens participating in the production, but the box office got over 100 million back. I will be collaborating with this film's director again soon."

Jackie Chan was the titleholder of the 'Best Director' award for CZ12. He expressed: "I've been acting for 53 years and have never cared for awards nor do I have any fate with awards. This is my first film director award in HK, I got it before a long time ago in Japan. I will continue to work in this industry, but I will no longer be a director. Directing is too difficult, just like Project A took 7 years to prepare. How many more 7 years do I have! I can't believe CZ12 would be that popular and earned so much in the Southeast Asia. The film hasn't released overseas yet, but a film is like gambling. It's either all or nothing."

Chapman To was awarded "Best Supporting Actor" for his role in DIVA. Han GaIn and Simon Yam presented the award to him. Chapman exclaimed when he saw Han GaIn, and kept on saying she's a beautiful girl. When asked if there is a film where she can collaborate with Chapman, but she'll have to be a supporting role, would she accept it? Han said: "No relation, as long as I can display my acting skills."
