Ever since announcing his relationship to the public, Raymond Lam has been seen most of his time enjoying the company of 19-year-old girlfriend, Karena Ng.
With his new love life blossoming, Jayne Stars website reported that the actor, who is currently in Hengdian filming "Luk Siu Fung" has not been able to concentrate well on his work, and is often on the phone, either talking or sending text messages, presumably to Karena, who currently has no project at hand.
The actor allegedly could not focus on his work and is often distracted. Instead of going through his scripts, he spends most of his time on the phone and consequently caused many outtakes during filming, frustrating the crew on set.
Meanwhile, rumour has it that the actor told TVB executive, Virginia Lok, that he wants to take a break after filming "Luk Siu Fung" and does not want to be involved in any work, be it filming or singing, to spend more time with Karena.
Hence, Raymond will not be involved in any series for the second half of this year.
Meanwhile, Karena revealed that Raymond has banned her from visiting him in Hengdian due to H7N9, saying, "Raymond is afraid that I may get ill so he prefers that I do not visit him. I'm also worried for him and often remind him to be watchful of what he eats. Meanwhile, I have prepared a lot of dry food so that he can bring them over."
