Ever since his marriage to model-actress Gaile Lok ended, Leon Lai has been romantically linked to various women. However, none of them sparked as much enthusiasm as his rumoured relationship with former "Comrades: Almost a Love Story" co-star, Maggie Cheung.
As reported on Asianpopnews website, rumours of the two long-time friends hooking up again started when the two UNICEF ambassadors met each other at a public event last month.
When asked about their relationship, Leon exclaimed, "I swear that I have never heard of such rumour. But, if there is really such good news, I will absolutely announce it."
Leon also revealed that he was helping Maggie to pursue her music career, triggering speculations that he was indeed trying to rekindle their onscreen romance into reality.
The Heavenly King was also very calm in saying that he is used to such gossips, and heartily said, "If the tabloids are willing to write about me, it shows that I still have value".
