The winner of three Best Supporting Actress awards in 2012, Nancy Wu recently revealed that she is planning to visit her grandmother on Chinese New Year, and her boyfriend Patt Shum will tag along with her.
According to Popular Asians, while attending a CNY holiday event in Tseung Kwan O, the actress denied that the visit is intended for wedding plans or that her grandmother is rushing her to get married, stating, "We'll see what happens. My grandmother has met him once before, but she did not have much of an opinion of him. She told me that everything will be great as long as we're happy."
However, Nancy also disclosed that she sees her advertising executive boyfriend as her prospective marriage partner and expressed, "When we date, we all hope to see the relationship blossom and bear fruit. We do talk about marriage, especially at our age, but it all boils down to fate."
Asked if a shotgun marriage is possible, Nancy laughed and said, "I can't answer that now, but if that is to happen, it will."
Meanwhile, the actress has been taking a well-deserved break from filming dramas. The actress has turned down a few filming offers to focus on making public appearances at promotional functions and events.
