Paul Wong, husband of Hong Kong actress Athena Chu, reportedly hosted a private 100-day celebration dinner for their beloved daughter nicknamed “Char Siew Bun”.
According to the Hong Kong media the dinner was held at a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui on Saturday night, attended by about 60 relatives and close friends.
The first-time father reportedly asked the invited guests not to reveal any information about the dinner, so that his family could celebrate in peace without being harassed by the media. However, the family was spotted by the media in their car, and the chauffeur immediately pulled the curtains to prevent the media from taking photos.
Athena was spotted taking care of “Char Siew Bun” in the car and hiding her face from the media. She was said to have returned to her slender figure before childbirth.
Paul went up to the media to block them from his family and told them to stop following them. When asked by the media to confirm rumours of the celebration dinner, Paul denied and said, “We only had dinner with our friends. I was very anxious because Athena and our daughter were in the car.”
The 48-year-old added, “Take pictures of me instead, leave my family alone.”
