An attempt to be fair to all artistes and the audience this year, Hong Kong TVB has implemented a new rule and introduced public voting to determine the final outcome for "Best Actor", "Best Actress" and "Best Drama Series" in its annual prestigious TVB awards.
Although TVB has not revealed its latest voting results, the media has already launched their own public voting system to predict this year's winners.
Former TVB actress Charmaine Sheh won the public's hearts with her outstanding performance in When Heaven Burns. She is currently leading the "Best Actress" scoreboard ahead of hot favourites Kate Tsui and Tavia Yeung by a wide margin.
On the other hand, Raymond Lam who is well-known for his huge fan base, emerged as the top nominee for "Best Actor".
It remains to be seen whether the predictions are true. The audience will only get to know the actual results when the widely speculated ceremony is held on Dec 17.
