COLD WAR (HONG JIN) became last year's Hong Kong film box office champion. Lead actor Aaron Kwok Fu Sing two nights ago spent six figures on a celebration. Cast and crew members Eddie Peng Yu-yen, Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Chin Kar Lok, Terence Yin (Wan Chi Wai) and the directors attended. Aside from paying the bill, Sing Sing also contributed to a lucky drawing with prizes like watches. Boss Bill Kong Chi Keung revealed that a sequel will start production in May.

Sing Sing felt that COLD WAR 2's May production was just right. He will finish his concert in March, rest then work on the film. "The sequel will have the original team as well as additional stars. The director hoped to make COLD WAR into a film series. I look forward to outstanding performance in every film." Will the sequel have box office pressure? Sing Sing said, "Only the boss and the director would have box office pressure. Actors only focus on acting, which is also the best way to reduce stress. I have ample understanding of the character, who is very reserved and drastically different from the real me."

Some one compared COLD WAR and INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH). Sing Sing disagreed. "Although both are battles of wits between cops and crooks, they have their differences. INFERNAL AFFAIRS is classic, COLD WAR is another classic. Viewers in different era evaluates films differently. Now viewers are even smarter. COLD WAR is attractive due to its simple dialogues and 'accuracy', as well as its intriguing story."

Sing Sing is busy preparing for his March concert. This time he will appear with white hair but will still have new image. "In my experience after the concert I usually lose a few pounds. This time I will have to gain weight because in COLD WAR Lau Kit Fai has to be fuller."
