Andy Lau's tight security for daughter

Andy Lau has always been very discreet about his personal life, thus, his daughter's first birthday was also celebrated with tight security.

Popular Asians reported that on 8 May, Andy and wife Carol Chu's daughter Hanna, who turned one recently, celebrated her birthday at The Peninsula Hotel, situated around Tsim Sha Tsui.

However, none of the paparazzi tailing the family and their guests were able to enter the hotel or to photograph them, as the four black mini-vans that brought Andy's family did not stop by the entrance, instead continued to the back of the hotel, where they entered a private parking garage.

Andy, Carol, and Hanna then exited out of one mini-van, while security guards came out of the other vans to escort the family to the hotel's banquet hall. The tight security remained until the party ended at around 3pm.

Meanwhile, it was reported that many celebrity guests attended the party, including Felix Wong, Michael Miu, Andy's "Blind Detective" co-star Sammi Cheng, Sandra Ng, George Lam, and Sally Yeh.

Celebrity guests were also tight-lipped about the party. When Michael Miu was asked regarding Hanna's party, he unwillingly answered, "It is better if you ask Andy himself. He has always been a private person."
