TVB Promoting Former iCable Artists, Moses Chan: "New Artists, Refreshing Feeling"
Yesterday Moses Chan, Ada Choi and Eddie Kwan were on a radio station interview to promote for TVB series Beauty At War. To rescue this low-rated series, TVB had the cast record short clips to explain the story. Moses expressed this means TVB really does pay attention to the audiences' feelings, but Ada didn't really liked the idea. She said: "I personally like that mysterious feeling, so audience can think about it. Usually when I watch a movie, I don't watch the trailers." Beauty At War is 30 episodes, and already half of the series has been broadcast, but the audience are still having trouble understanding the plot, Ada responded: "But even the granny at the grocery market street understands!"
It was recently rumored Wayne Lai and Moses Chan are displeased that TVB is heavily promoting former iCable artists Priscilla Wong and Tony Hung, whom were said to be part of the 'Sandy Yu party', but Moses said: "New artists give off a refreshing feeling. It's boring watching yourself on TV. Promoting younger staff is a good thing, but we endured through hard work, some people are more fortunate and lucky."
Wayne responded to the rumor as well: "I never said that in my previous interviews. The reports are making me sound like I'm so upset, which is completely distorted! I think Priscilla Wong is a great actress, very natural and Tony Hung is popular among the audience. It is absolutely rational to give them a chance. It does not have anything to do with the so-called 'parties' within the company."
