"I had nothing to do with it," said Hong Kong actor Ron Ng recently, dismissing rumours claiming that he is the third party in Tiffany Tang and Roy Chiu's relationship that led to their breakup.
Asianpopnews website reported that the actor was referring to an earlier rumour, which had stated he was courting Tiffany Tang while filming their mainland drama, "The Woman in the Cubicle".
Photos of the two stars behaving intimately were published and the actress has also been praising Ron in various interviews since working together.
With Tiffany's man, Roy Chiu, recently declaring that they have ended their relationship, speculations arose that Ron may have been the cause of their separation.
However, the actor recently dispelled the rumours as false and stressed that he has nothing to do with the couple's conflict. The actor also admitted that he knew that Tiffany was attached, and had kept a distance from her during the filming.
Ron revealed, "We do not have feelings for each other. We are only friends. The romance would happen long ago if it were to happen. I do not have her number, until towards the end of the filming. We only communicated twice and it was just a regular chat."
When asked if he would approach the actress now that they have broken up, Ron said, "It's not necessary. Maybe Tiffany has someone new already. I don't even have time for my family. Where would I have the time for a girlfriend?"
