With two months left before the release of "Switch" in cinemas, the music video of the film's theme song, "Secret", has been released.
According to Jayne Stars, the song sung by Magic Power and Ashin Chen from Mayday features new unseen footage from "Switch", and has an energetic rock beat, contrary to the gentle piano opening.
The music video itself depicts the love and hate relationships between the four main leads in the film. There is also a fleeting glimpse by veteran actress Siqin Gaowa, which Ashin, who is also the producer of the music video, added that it is not to miss out on. Siqin Gaowa plays a mysterious cultural relics leader, a departure from her usual roles.
"Switch" centres on top Hong Kong agent Xiao Jinghan and his wife Lin Yuyan, whose mission is to protect a nationally treasured Chinese masterpiece, the "Fuchun Mountains" painting. However, the iconic painting also has the attention of a Japanese mafia spy named Lisa, whose motives are unclear, as well as Yamamoto, the film's main antagonist.
The 3D action film stars Andy Lau, Lin Chi-ling, Zhang Jingchu and Tong Dawei. It will be released in China on 9 June 2013.
