"Friendly Fire" actor Ronan Pak recently dismissed rumours of his sexual services for men business.

As reported on Popular Asians, recently, a tabloid magazine reported that they have sent one of their reporters incognito for a sexual transaction after a reader claimed that a famous person has been performing sexual services in an online gay chat room, ranging from HKD 35,000 to HKD 100,000 per client.

After successfully contacting the man in charge of the service, they discovered that the Mr. Hong Kong in question was Ronan Pak- who was also a participant of TVB's 2010 Mr. Hong Kong contest.
However, the undercover reporter, who was instructed to come to Tin Shui Wai's Harbor Plaza Resort Hotel on 16 March for the service, was not allowed to meet Ronan Pak before paying the money, and was only allowed to talk to the actor on the phone. The reporter claimed that he recognised the soft voice to be Ronan's.

Coincidentally, Ronan was also in Tin Shui Wai that night, pacing nervously around the entrance of the Harbor Plaza Resort Hotel. When approached by a group of reporters, Ronan tried to run away and nervously stated that he did not know anything about any male sexual services.

However, on 21 March Ronan released a statement through his manager, Tiffany, denying his involvement in the aforementioned sexual services for men, saying that the alleged escort agent was a friend he met on Facebook.

Later on, the actor also held a press conference to deny the gay escort allegations, saying, "On Saturday night, my friend invited me to a late dinner at Tin Shui Wai. I waited for him for quite a while but he never showed up. He also did not pick up the phone when I called him several times. Soon afterwards, four reporters suddenly rushed towards me and cornered me. I got scared so I naturally tried to run away.

I was there to meet up with a friend for dinner. I was not there to receive customers. But the friend betrayed me and I never saw him after that. He still would not reply to my calls. He deleted his Facebook too. It is like he vanished from thin air."

He also denied the tele-conversation with the reporter in disguise, stating, "[The reporter] could not prove that the person was me. Having a random person reply through the phone to say that he was Ronan Pak does not mean that he really is Ronan Pak."

On the subject of homosexuality, he stressed, "I've already clarified this issue a couple of years ago. Maybe people think I was gay because I look genteel and have a soft voice. But I do like girls."
