Ever since her highly reported romance with actor Louis Fan, JJ Jia seem to have lost track of her career. The actress was also said to have angered her boss, Nat Chan, who decided not to renew her contract with his company after she was accused of wrecking Louis' family.
As reported on Popular Asians website, Nat Chan, who was accompanied by wife Cecilia Wong, calmly addressed allegations against JJ and explained her current dilemma when speaking to the media at the EYT Friends dinner gathering on 11 March.
"The Flirting Scholar" actor stated, "The rumour is not true. I never refused to renew JJ's contract. Why would I be angry about JJ accepting jobs on her own? I will earn the commission anyway."
Nat also commented that JJ Jia has an unpredictable streak and is confused between choosing her acting career and marriage. The actor stated, "She doesn't even know if she wants to marry Louis."
However, he also expressed he would give his support to anything JJ decides to do.
"I care about JJ a lot. Maybe she feels left out because our company has recently signed on many newcomers and feels the need to get married soon [to secure her future]. If she doesn't get married and wants to continue acting, I'm okay with signing her again. But if she plans to get married and leave the entertainment industry, I will support that too."
He added, "I don't have any daughters. If she gets married it'll be like marrying off a daughter."
