The Hong Kong artiste reportedly bought a dress as a White Day gift for his girlfriend Karena Ng
Raymond Lam reportedly gave his girlfriend Karena Ng a branded gift to celebrate White Day yesterday.
According to the Hong Kong media, the Hong Kong singer-actor and his actress girlfriend Karena have been spotted out on a date three times in the past month since Raymond admitted to their relationship after months of speculations.
A netizen claimed that he spotted Raymond shopping alone in a branded name store on Wednesday and the artiste personally picked out a dress as a White Day gift for his girlfriend. He then rushed to attend his company EEG's (Emperor Entertainment Group) spring banquet and was even late for it.
All smiles at the EEG spring banquet, Raymond was asked why he decided to open up about his relationship with Karena, and the 33-year-old said, 'I just did what a man should do. I believe that any girl would like her boyfriend to give her a status and be open about the relationship.'
Reporters probed further to find out if the couple has any plan to tie the knot soon, but Raymond merely smiled and said 'let nature take its course'.
Attending an event yesterday, Karena revealed that she also prepared a White Day gift for her boyfriend. Responding to Raymond's earlier comment that he does not want her to have any intimate scenes with other actors, Karena said that she may still go ahead with scenes if necessary.
When asked if Raymond has met her parents, Karena said, 'Dating does not necessarily mean that we must meet each other's parents. However Raymond and my parents have talked to each other over the phone before, and I once met his parents in public.'
