Tony Leung spent three years of his life dedicated to the filming of Wong Kar Wai's "The Grandmaster" and according to Carina Lau, he is now enjoying his stay at home.
As reported on Groove Asia website, actress Carina Lau recently revealed that husband Tony Leung (Chiu Wai) might not be taking any movie projects in 2013.
Speaking to the media at the Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery event, the actress revealed, "Since "The Grandmaster" took too long to film, he needed to rest a little. However he wouldn't ask me to be off with him. We would give each other time to do our own things and not restrict the other."
Asked what the actor does in his free time, Carina said, "His favourite thing to do is just stay at home. He would go to the sea at summer, but now he is learning computers and practicing Wing Chun. He would wear a hat and medical mask to go to the supermarket, thinking that others would not be able to recognise him. Actually he is just fooling himself."
With Tony Leung relaxing at home, it's Carina's turn to work for the family. The actress revealed that she has recently worked on "Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon" and "Bends" – which has been selected to compete at the Cannes Film Festival's Un Certain Regard.
Carina stated, "Actually I have quietly done a lot of work. Tony won't probably make a movie this year!"
