Although it has been 15 years since her retirement, rumour has it that film actor-turned-TVB middleman, Eric Tsang has invited Vivian Chow to participate in a TVB drama, Popular Asians website reported.
An insider disclosed that Vivian, who is good friends with TVB Executive, Virginia Lok has agreed to make a comeback in a TVB drama in order to help the station combat their rival broadcasters.
Several other sources also alleged that Eric has planned for the 46-year-old former small screen siren to work with 47-year-old Veronica Yip, who has given her verbal agreement to star in a TVB drama, as well as 54-year-old Teresa Mo, who is still considering the offer.
The source continued, "Tony Leung (Ka Fai) already agreed and Vivian really likes the script, so filming is slated to begin later in the year. The story will revolve around a group of women who reunite after starting their own families and reflect upon their youth."
However, when asked by the media, Vivian denied that she has agreed to return to star in any drama. Her manager stated, "There were talks of shooting a travel-related show but I haven't heard of anything else. But Vivian's relationship with TVB is very good."
Meanwhile, Virginia Lok clarified, "Nothing has been confirmed yet. Besides, Eric is not in Hong Kong. We'll have to wait and see when he comes back, but we'll definitely let you guys know!"
