Asianpopnews website reported that the actress was spotted with an Ekin Cheng-lookalike recently, sparking speculations that the actress was on a blind date.

The Hong Kong paparazzi caught the actress walking into a Western restaurant in Central Hong Kong, while good friend, Florence Kwok, was seen with two guys entering the same premise earlier.

It was reported that the four of them left the restaurant after two hours, with the 38-year-old actress cosying up to one of the men, who looked a lot like Ekin Cheng in built and feature.

The duo chatted endlessly and the man in question attentively sought Charmaine's suggestion on their next destination, and walked with her to retrieve her car.

The four of them eventually headed straight to Florence's place for a second drinking session.

However, when asked about the matchmaking session, Florence was surprised and stated, "I did not dine with Charmaine! I was working in China. Where would I have the time to dine with her?"
