Yesterday Kate Tsui, Sonija Kwok, Kenneth Ma, Ron Ng and Fala Chen attended an event marking the new relationship between TVB and Mainland streaming video sites (Youku and Tudou). Beginning April 1st, Youku and Tudou holds the copyright for all TVB new series, variety shows and exclusive media coverages; a benefit to over 440 million users of those streaming video sites. The chairman of Youku & Tudou expressed at the press conference from here on out, TVB series will release at the same time as HK. Users can access the videos "any time, any where" via their PC, tablets or smart phones for a period of at least 2 years.

According to the statistics, in 2012 among the top 10 most popular series on Youku, 5 of them were TVB series; On Tudou, TVB had 7 series on the top 10 list. On both video sites, TVB series has a total of 9.8 billion views. TVB's General Manager expressed: "This shows that HK series are quite a hit in Mainland. I believe this collaboration will be beneficial for the 440 million Youku & Tudou users and improve the viewing experience."

At the press conference, Kate Tsui had to have someone help her get up on stage. Sonija Kwok held her hand and helped her walk as well. It turns out, a few days ago when she was shooting for new series Sniper Standoff, she was hanging on wires for a 10+ floor jump and accidentally bumped herself on the surface. She ends up bruising her left knee and because of her 5-inch heels, she got a scrape with some blood seen on her ankles. Kate expressed: "I still had to work this morning, so the only thing I could do is walk slower. We're trying to wrap up the filming, so just have to endure through the pain and continue on with filming. (Why didn't you use a stunts double?) I did have one, but I really wanted to personally do the scene myself, it produces a better outcome. Once I finished that scene, the whole crew applauded for me." Kate frankly expressed she had to cancel her dancing parts in some stage performances, and just stand still to do her singing performance.

Sonija reveals she is currently working in both Mainland and HK, and enjoys the change of environment. Does she plan to have another baby like Ada Choi? She expressed: "Not yet, when I have time I will try to have another baby. I hope to have good news by the end of the year and to make the word 'good' (have a boy and a girl)."
