Andy maintained his low profile ways, quoting reason of attending the event as he rejected any interviews, he was full of smiles and looked spirited but when reporters asked if he brought his family along, he smiled and nodded his head, when he went to chat with Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun’s mother whom asked him: “Do you have a daughter who looked like you?” Facing the elderly’s question, he smiled and nodded his head as he admitted that his daughter looked like him, however his wife and daughter were not sighted.
Berjaya Corperation Berhad held the 3rd Founder’s Day at Berjaya Times Square, the founder Tan Sri Vincent Tan’s Better Malaysia Foundation and Berjaya Cares Foundation donated 20.2 million ringgit beneficial to 74 organization. Andy who made a private visit to Malaysia, appeared with Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Robin Tan Yeong Ching, the arrival of a superstar stirred the crowds.
Being friends with Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun for many years, Andy was invited to speak on stage and he sang praise of Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun sincerity and determination in work, despite busy with Berjaya Corperation Berhad, he did not forget to contribute to charity, giving back to charity, he’s the best role model.
