The couple checked into a hotel with wedding facilities
Celebrity couple Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui was spotted in Okinawa after the latter wrapped up a series of Big Four concerts in Hong Kong last week. The lovebirds reportedly checked into a hotel that provides an al fresco seaside wedding experience, inviting speculations that their trip to the Japanese island was for their impending union.
Dressed in casual clothes and stylish shades, Sammi was seen placing her arm over Andy's shoulder, displaying loving couple behaviour. Sources revealed that the pair not only celebrated a belated Valentine's Day during the trip, but they were also there to do a food tasting session for their wedding banquet. The booking of the wedding venue is said to cost HK $40,000 (approximately S$6392).
Responding to the wedding rumours, their manager clarified that Sammi and Andy do not intend to get married at the moment and that the singer-actress will be busy with album preparations and promotional activities of her new movie Blind Detective once she returns to Hong Kong.
The well-loved celebrity couple's marital matters have been talk of the town since they reconciled in 2011 after an eight-year-long split, with earlier reports claiming that they planned to marry in Europe this summer.
