Tony Leung Chiu Wai offers to perform at Leslie Cheung

This year will be the 10th anniversary of Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing's passing. Former manager Chan Suk Fun yesterday announced a series of memorial events. The memorial concerts will take place on March 31 and April 1 at the Hong Kong Coliseum, advanced tickets were almost sold out. She thanked Jacky Cheung Hok Yau for assisting with the concert rundown design, with no less than 10 artists to perform. However the performers are being confidential for now. Chan Suk Fun said, "A superstar who can singer called and said that he would be willing t do anything." Some guessed that the superstar was Tony Leung Chiu Wai.

Cheung Kwok Wing's partner Donald Tong Hok Tak wrote and provided 3 life photos with Gor Gor for the memorial photo book and note book. Famous photographer Wing Shya (Ha Wing Hong) provided some previously unpublished photos to the photo book. Limited edition 12 inch figures, tee shirts, bags, pins and coffee cups will be released as well.

From March 28 to May 1 a memorial exhibit will be held at the Causeway Times Square. Gor Gor's awards and costumes will be on display. Fans from everywhere have started an origami crane blessing event for the Guinness World Record.
