Rumour has it that long-time lovers Andy Hui and Sammi Cheng are following the footsteps of peers, Ekin Cheng and Yoyo Mung, and will be holding their wedding in Japan.
According to Jayne Stars website, a Hong Kong tabloid magazine reported that the couple, who were earlier rumoured to tie the knot in October 2013 at the Prince Grand Resort's Brasa Bianca chapel located in Karuizawa, Japan, have allegedly decided to change their wedding venue to the luxurious AMMS Hotels CanNa Resort Villa in the Okinawa Prefecture of Japan.
In the late afternoon of 17 February, the lovebirds were spotted at the Okinawa's Naha Airport and reportedly stayed for three days to check out the venue, which is situated near the beach in the suburban city of Ginoza.
A source revealed that Sammi and Andi have chosen the resort villa due to its relaxing ambience, good service, and privacy. The villa also has an open-air chapel located on the roof of the tallest building, which is specifically reserved for weddings suitable for the Christian couple.
It was also revealed that a wedding ceremony and a reception at the AMMS Hotels CanNa Resort Villa would be worth around HKD40,000, an amount that would not be impossible for the two highest-earning singers in Hong Kong.
