The model-actress was surprised when her actor boyfriend publically acknowledged their budding romance
Karena Ng made her first public appearance after Hong Kong actor-singer, Raymond Lam confessed to their relationship earlier this month. Beaming throughout the function, she even disclosed first-hand details of their budding romance.
The 19-year-old shared that both of them got to know each other better when they met on the set of movie Love is...Pyjamas and Raymond was the party who initiated the relationship between them. She shared that they grew closer and started dating naturally.
Singing high praises for her boyfriend, Karena commented, "I was unaware [Raymond] would announce the relationship. I'm surprised and delighted by his gesture. He's a very thoughtful and responsible man."
The lovebirds were sighted enjoying dinner with friends during their first Valentine's Day and are reportedly smitten with each other.
Meanwhile, the couple raised eyebrows when they were photographed travelling to Tokyo, Japan for a romantic getaway last week. When asked about their sleeping arrangements, Karena stressed they "stayed in separate rooms and travelled with a group of friends".
She denied visiting Raymond's parents in Xiamen, China during Chinese New Year and revealed she preferred to let nature take its course in a relationship.
