Despite Kathy Chow declining a million dollar mainland drama to accept TVB's invitation to film new drama "Sniper Attack 2013", her supposed lead role seem to be given to TVB pet, Kate Tsui instead.

As reported on Asianpopnews website, rumour has it that TVB has omitted Kathy's screen time to add more scenes for Kate, even though the former was originally named as the lead.

An inside source revealed that the actress' screen time had to be limited due to her health problems.

According to the source, "The director didn't dare to drag the filming time as he was worried that Kathy could not stand it. However, the filming schedule is very tight. Hence, TVB secretly removed Kathy's scenes and added more scenes for Kate."

The insider added, "Kathy's part will focus on the first 14 episodes, whereas Kate's character will appear throughout the drama. It is very obvious who the leading actress is".

However, when asked if she had been demoted to a supporting actress and that her scenes have been cut, an annoyed Kathy replied, "Why did you ask that I am not the leading actress? I do not know! Nobody informed me. If the company has any changes in policy, they should inform my manager. I think there is no such thing!"

Meanwhile, Kate admitted that her role was meatier. "I do not know anything as the full script is not released. You have to ask the producer. I do not mind the amount of screen time as long as the role is challenging".

When asked if Kathy was not the leading actress, Producer Kwan replied, "There will be two leading actors and two leading actresses. Kathy will have a lasting relationship with Eddie, whereas Kate will sacrifice herself. I am still considering [how to end it]. Anyway, both are leading actresses!"
